BOAT Works and more

Nice Garmin chartplotter installation on

a small sailboat pedestal. Works great!

SOLUTION-Driven Learning

Working on sailboats and powerboats

present many problems to solve everyday.

IDEAS to explore

We like to explore and test lots of boat components, to teach and learn diagnostics and problem solving.

Marine Arts Workshop creates land and sea-based programs that
promote valuable life skills for youth and young adults.
Using hands-on training, students are introduced to a variety

of marine trades. Our programs
foster success by encouraging safety, self-sufficiency, and completion of projects. They are
designed to create community leaders who will use
our problem-solving methods in their own lives and
communities.

Marcus Asante and Marine Arts Workshop has been featured in Hommes d'Afrique, a magazine focused on African business and political affairs. It is widely read in Europe and throughout the African continent in English and French.

Marcus is the subject of an upcoming documentary which will highlight some of his accomplishments and his journey to become a unique voice on the Chesapeake Bay and beyond.
